Our committee members help by performing all the tasks needed to ensure that our Team Leaders are supported in organizing successful visits. Examples are:

q Getting gifts to give to the people we visit
q Promoting our activities
q Raising funds
q Record keeping

Committee Meeting Locations
As The Holiday Project does not lease an office, meetings are held at different locations, according to the convenience of attendees. Some of these locations are:

Powell, Goldstein, Frazier, and Murphy, 901 New York Avenue NW, Third Floor. The closest Metro stops are Chinatown and Convention Center. If driving from VA, take the 12th Street tunnel and continue on 12th Street. Turn right on L Street which becomes Massachusetts Avenue. Turn right on 9th Street and right onto K Street. You will be at the back side of the building. Or, from the 14th Street bridge, take 14th Street and turn right onto New York Avenue. You will be at the front side of the building. Meters run through 6:30pm.

MetaMetrics, 3218 O Street NW, Georgetown, between Wisconsin and 33rd Streets. The closest Metro stop is Foggy Bottom, about 3/4 mile walk. If driving from Virginia, cross Key Bridge; turn right on M Street (at the end of the bridge); take the first left turn at the light; turn right onto O Street. MetaMetrics is located between Cote Jardin and Susquehanna. Go through the black iron gate labeled 3218. Walk down the path to the back. Two-hour street parking is usually available.
