The Holiday Project of the National Capital Area, Inc. is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation -- EIN 54-2024970. Contributions are deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Every dollar donated is enormously leveraged by our network of Team Leaders and other volunteers.

Revenue & Expenses
In a typical year, we spend $4,000-5,000, mostly on gifts for the people we visit and Visit supplies. Our expenses are low because we are all volunteers and we work from our homes. In the past few years, we have not raised sufficient amounts to cover expenses and although previous year’s surpluses have enabled us to continue operations, deficit years create higher overhead percentages. We are committed to a 2010-2011 Fiscal Year ... in the black! In order to create that result, we need your help.

Donate Gifts
Each year, we give approximately 5,000 gifts to the people we visit. We accept contributions of appropriate items in quantities of 250 or more. Examples are socks, handkerchiefs and small stuffed animals. To inquire about making a contribution, send an e-mail to holidayprojectdc@hotmail.com

Donate Cards

Donate through a Workplace Campaign
The Holiday Project of the National Capital Area is participates in the Combined Federal Campaign of the National Capital Area as a Local Independent Charity, Code #50159. In many other campaigns, we can be “written-in” as a contribution choice.
